Getting Started
Welcome to Note Doctor! This guide will help you install the extension and start generating clinical notes in minutes.
1Install the Chrome Extension
Note Doctor is a Chrome browser extension. To install it:
- Click the "Add to Chrome - Free" button on the homepage
- Confirm the installation in the Chrome Web Store popup
- The Note Doctor icon will appear in your browser toolbar
Tip: Pin the extension to your toolbar for quick access. Click the puzzle icon in Chrome, then click the pin next to Note Doctor.
2Sign In to Your Account
After installation, you'll need to sign in to access recording features:
- Click the Note Doctor icon in your toolbar
- Click "Sign In on Website"
- Create an account or sign in with your existing credentials
- Return to the extension—you're now ready to record!
3Record Your First Encounter
With your account set up, recording is simple:
- Navigate to your EHR in Chrome
- Click the Note Doctor extension icon
- Press the large microphone button to start recording
- Conduct your patient encounter normally
- Click Stop when finished
- Wait for transcription and AI analysis
- Notes will automatically fill your EHR form fields!
